CTCSA is excited to announce that a new Charter Schools Program (CSP) grant competition is launching this summer, giving applicants the opportunity to access funds for the opening, expanding, or replicating of high-quality charter schools in Connecticut. This competitive grant competition is administered by CTCSA and distributed through the Great Schools for Connecticut (GSCT) Project.
GSCT awarded the first-ever CSP grant in Connecticut earlier this year, awarding $1.3 million to Edmonds Cofield Preparatory Academy for Young Men, which is set to open in New Haven this fall. Your school may qualify for CSP funding if you have growth or expansion plans. Interested applicants should keep an eye out for emails from CTCSA over the coming weeks.
