Great Schools for Connecticut

Eligibility

Eligible applicants for CSP funding must meet both the federal and Connecticut definition of a high-quality charter school as defined in ESEA § 4310. Schools will also need to affirm whether they are in good standing with the CSDE and disclose CSP funds received under the CMO or developer programs, in addition to other federal funds received.

Schools contracting with Charter Management Organizations (CMOs) must provide a copy of the CMO contract, a description of the roles and responsibilities of eligible applicants, partner organizations, and charter management organizations (CMO), including the administrative and contractual roles and responsibilities of such partners (per ESEA §4303(f)).

Please note that these eligibility criteria are not exhaustive; they are meant as a general guideline. Further details are outlined on our Applicant Resources page.
